Acid Bath

"Acid Bath" by Bill Garson is a science fiction adventure where Jon Karyl, all alone, faces strange invaders called the Steel-Blues on a far-off asteroid. It's a tale of courage and smart thinking as Karyl tries everything he can to warn Earth about the coming danger, even while the aliens experiment on him. The Steel-Blues plan to invade Earth for its stuff and use a weird liquid on Karyl, but it doesn't work like they thought. He sends a message to the Space Patrol, hoping they will arrive in time to stop the invasion. In the end, the Space Patrol defeats the Steel-Blues. Karyl is victorious, but questions remain about where the aliens came from.
