Prodigal Weapon

"Prodigal Weapon" by Bill Garson is a science fiction tale from another time that looks at important ideas, like being enslaved, fighting back, and seeking out secret weak points in enemies that seem too strong to beat. Picture a future where Earth belongs to the Kraks, mean aliens who have taken over, where a brave Earthling named Sean McKenna gets captured. Sean is the main character and he begins a secret quest to find out how to hurt the Kraks because he wants to free all of humanity. After going through some rough situations, he goes up against Klash, a Krak who seems impossible to beat and finds out laughter might be their downfall! The book then becomes a thrilling show of bravery, with Sean trying to inspire other captives and make laughter a serious weapon.
