Summary

"The Tower of Oblivion" by Oliver Onions is a mind-bending story from the early 1900s, following the strange journey of Derwent Rose, a writer whose life turns upside down when he starts aging in reverse. Rose's desperate quest to understand this bizarre phenomenon leads him down a path of self-discovery, forcing him to confront his past, question his identity, and re-evaluate his relationships, especially his feelings for a woman named Daphne Bassett; his friend George Coverham watches in concern as Rose grapples with his changing reality, reflecting on the impact of time, memory, and personal choices while embarking on a journey of rejuvenation.
