Time and the Woman

"Time and the Woman" by G. Gordon Dewey is a science fiction story that asks what happens when someone is desperate to turn back time. The plot follows Ninon, who is obsessed with regaining her youth and beauty. She sets out on a space journey, along with a younger man, with the hopes of using new space travel technology to reverse the aging process. Along the way she attempts to control the people around her, and their circumstances, to achieve her desire to be young again. But as the journey progresses, Ninon's carefully crafted plans fall apart, revealing the unexpected and frightening consequences of trying to defy the natural progression of time, leading to a twist in which she is alone on the ship facing her destiny.
