Summary

"The Council of Seven" by J. C. Snaith is a tale where Helen Sholto is pulled into a whirlwind of political intrigue because of her fiancé, John Endor, a politician facing a scandal because of a statement that the newspaper say he made. As Helen grapples with feelings and loyalties, her employer, Saul Hartz, who has power in the newspaper industry, appears to be mixed up. The story shows the fight between love, what's right, and how the media shapes what people think, all while exploring how the truth can be twisted for political benefit.
