Summary

"Little Brother" by Cory Doctorow is a thrilling young adult novel that throws a spotlight on Marcus Yallow, a smart teenager in San Francisco, living in a world changed by a terrorist attack. The story is all about how privacy and freedom are challenged when the government starts watching everyone too closely. You will meet Marcus as a tech-savvy high schooler who suddenly finds himself in a scary situation after an attack throws the city into chaos. He and his friends get caught up in the mess and have to use all their skills to escape the authorities who are cracking down hard. As Marcus becomes a target, the story shows just how brave he is, and how far he'll go to fight for what's right, raising big questions about technology and what it means for our freedom today.
