Summary

"The Passionate Pitchman" by Stephen Marlowe is a science fiction story about Hector Finch, a regular salesman whose world flips upside down when he meets the mysterious Miss Laara. She shows him a way to instantly move products using teleportation. Hector thinks he’s hit the jackpot. He quickly discovers that this incredible power attracts trouble in the form of the Syndicate, a dangerous group that wants to control his newfound abilities. Now stuck in a crazy world filled with crimes and secrets, Hector has to decide what's important as he juggles his confusing feelings for his girlfriend, Patty, all while trying not to lose himself in the process.

About the Author

Stephen Marlowe was an American author of science fiction, mystery novels, and fictional autobiographies of Goya, Christopher Columbus, Miguel de Cervantes, and Edgar Allan Poe. He is best known for his detective character Chester Drum, whom he created for the 1955 novel The Second Longest Night. Lesser also wrote using the pseudonyms Adam Chase, Andrew Frazer, C.H. Thames, Jason Ridgway, Stephen Wilder, and Ellery Queen.
