Summary

"Lady Into Hell-Cat" by Stanley Mullen is a science fiction story set in a future where a special agent named Lee Heydrick is tasked with hunting down Ria Tarsen, a Martian woman accused of murder. The story plunges into a world of shady characters, political games, and conflicted loyalties on the moon of Ganymede. Heydrick's mission gets complicated when he actually meets Ria and starts to think she might be innocent, realizing that there is a huge conspiracy cooked up by rebels known as the Wildings trying to fight off the ruling Red Scientists. The chase evolves into something more personal as Heydrick and Ria develop a connection, forcing him to question the power of the government and decide what is truly important to him.
