Summary

"The Little French Lawyer: A Comedy" by Francis Beaumont is a funny play that takes place way back in time and is all about love, doing what's right, and fighting between people, especially when Dinant finds himself in a tricky situation because he's still in love with Lamira, who is now married to Champernel. The start of the show sets the scene with Dinant and his pal Cleremont chatting about how difficult it is to be honorable when it comes to fighting and love. As the story moves forward, Dinant makes up his mind to face his rival head-on, which leads to problems and misunderstandings, making way for funny interactions that really dig into what it means to be honorable and loyal; other characters, such as Champernel and Monsieur La Writt, add to the mix with their unique quirks and involvement in the young lovers' problems.
