Summary

"Outside the Universe" by Edmond Hamilton is a science fiction adventure where the Interstellar Patrol, a group of different alien species is endangered. When alien ships appear from the depths of space, they threaten the galaxy, leading Captain Dur Nal and his crew, including Korus Kan and Jhul Din, to act. The story begins with a patrol ship navigating the ether-currents in space, where the captain discovers an alien swarm approaching. With the realization that it’s not a meteor, but warships possessing dangerous weapons, the squadron soon finds itself engaged in a deadly battle. After capturing an alien ship, the stage is set for a challenging mission that will seek the aid of the Andromeda civilization. Faced with an impending invasion, the protagonist must find help by seeking aid from another civilization, otherwise, they face annihilation.
