"Suicide Command" by Stanley Mullen is a science fiction story set in the depths of space where the crew of the ISP cruiser Scorpio faces a critical operation to save the spaceliner Tellus from total destruction. The book follows the brave men and women risking everything to save the population aboard the ailing vessel that is failing due to some unknown issue. The hero is Lieutenant Blaze Norman who must step up and be the leader the rescue team needs as issues with radiation and ship failure threaten to extinguish all hope. Facing impossible odds, the men and women look to survive the ordeal as they struggle against the clock to reach the asteroid Hidalgo. Facing not only physical and psychological obstacles, the group must confront madness and sacrifice.
