Summary

"Forgotten Danger" by Joseph Samachson is an early science fiction story about a man named Crusoe who wakes up with amnesia and a strong feeling of danger. Crusoe is found near a swamp by Angel and the Professor, who choose to help him. As Crusoe tries to figure out who he is, he learns he has strange powers, like making weapons explode just by pointing at them. His search for his identity leads him to the truth: he is actually an alien named Tlaxon, stranded on Earth after his ship crashed. The story reaches its climax when the Professor is revealed to be evil, forcing Crusoe to make a difficult decision about saving his friend Angel. He must decide whether to save Angel, or allow the Professor to face justice. This science fiction tale is filled with suspense, action, and a close look at identity and fate.
