Picture Bride

"Picture Bride" by Joseph Samachson is a science fiction tale that spins a unique yarn of romance across the ages. It follows Perry, a man who falls head over heels for a woman from a thousand years in the future, all thanks to a time-contact machine. When Perry shares his love with his skeptical brother, George, it sets off a chain of events that blends disbelief with curiosity. As George investigates, a lab accident occurs, with Perry vanishing amidst the chaos. The story crescendos with George capturing a fleeting image of Perry with his future love just before the machine breaks down, painting a picture that their bond goes beyond the limits of time itself.
