Monster

"Monster" by Joseph Samachson is an adventure revealing the experiences of the Kidd family on Mars as they face a relentless barrage of Martian beasts and human buffoonery. The Kidds, Anthony, Alice, and Small, try to survive on the desolate planet fending off vicious badgerines and snaffles. Their challenges are made worse by the frustrating antics of T.I. Tapling, a clueless government worker who delays their access to essential weapons and supplies. Hope arrives in the form of Rover, a giant dog designed to protect them, who presents a set of unconventional challenges. Through close calls and humorous mishaps, the Kidd family pulls together demonstrating their will to survive in a hostile world.
