Summary

"Lady Sybil's Choice: A Tale of the Crusades" by Emily Sarah Holt is a historical story set in medieval times. The story is about Lady Elaine and her brother Guy, who decides to go be a Crusader. She is very sad about him leaving and thinks about when they were children. She is also in conflict with her half-sister, Alix. Elaine must think about what means the most to her, like love, religion, and what might happen in the future, especially to Guy on the crusades and the other noble woman that may come between them. The reader is immersed in a world of knights and nobles through the eyes of Elaine as she deals with the expectations of her place in society and what she actually wants.
