Tales of Passed Times

"Tales of Passed Times" by Charles Perrault is a set of old fairy tales from the 1600s. These stories, like "The Sleeping Beauty," "Little Red Riding-Hood," and "Cinderella," show the love of storytelling that people have had for many years. The tales teach lessons and have great characters, with themes such as love, bravery, and good winning against evil. However, an angry fairy who wasn't invited cursed the child, saying she would prick her finger and die. A kind fairy changed the curse so that she would sleep for one hundred years and then be woken up by a prince.
