(Sterner St. Paul) Meek is a science fiction adventure where Dr. Bird, a clever scientist, races against time to stop the evil Ivan Saranoff's terrible plan that could wreck the planet. The story mixes cool science ideas with exciting action as Dr. Bird and his helper, Carnes, go on a dangerous trip to Russia to stop Saranoff's solar magnet from messing with the Earth. Along the way, they face deadly attacks, risky aerial battles, and a daring escape from prison, helped by a woman with hidden reasons.
