"Some Persons Unknown" by E. W. (Ernest William) Hornung is a story set in the late 1800s that follows the Harwood family, with a spotlight on young Kenyon, a spirited boy, and how his life changes when he meets his favorite cricket player, C. J. Forrester; Kenyon, who's about eleven, has a big love for cricket and a wild side, partly because he misses his mom, and his older sister, Ethel, is always looking out for him; when Forrester comes to visit, it's a huge deal for Kenyon and his dad, Mr. Harwood, who has a hard time really connecting with his kids, and as the story unfolds, it looks at Kenyon's strong spirit, his health problems, and how he dreams big.
