"If You're Smart—" by Colin Keith is a science fiction story about brains versus big business. Dr. Claud Kellog invents a device that could change how people communicate between planets. But a powerful and mean businessman named Wolf Carmichael wants to control Kellog's invention for his own profit. Kellog is about to lose everything, but he figures out a smart plan to use his invention to get rich by playing the stock market. Now with money and power, Kellog goes head-to-head with Carmichael, taking apart his company and making things fairer for the people living on Saturn's moons. By the end, the story shows how being smart and inventive can give someone the power to stand up to even the biggest bullies and change the way things are.
