The Birds and the Bees

"The Birds and the Bees" by David E. Fisher is a science fiction story set in a future where a single machine is responsible for reproduction. Faced with extinction, two young individuals, Xeon and Melia, bravely step forward offering themselves to an experiment embracing old, natural ways to reproduce to rescue humanity from the brink of a future with no children.
