Summary

"Wings and Stings: A Tale for the Young" by A. L. O. E. uses human and bee characters so that young readers can learn about important life lessons. The story takes place in a school where Polly Bright complains of work and responsibilities and Minnie Wingfield stays positive. The main character, Polly, watches the bees and starts a journey that shows what happens when people aren't kind and don't fulfil their duties; the bees provide an example of responsibility and purpose that teach her how to act. The story unfolds and helps the main character to realize what happens when people learn to think not just of what they are responsible for, but of why they're responsible for their duties.
