Summary

"The Android Kill" by John Jakes is a science fiction story set in a world where androids are made to do all the work for humans. The story revolves around Captain Caffrey and his crew on a spaceship headed to Mars, carrying a shipment of these androids. Things go bad when a strange sickness infects one of the androids. As it spreads, the crew, and everyone on Mars, are in danger. Caffrey, a tough leader, has to make a really hard choice to stop the disease. The story makes you think about what it means to be alive and whether artificial life is worth the same as human life, especially when things go wrong.
