"Robinc" by Anthony Boucher is a science fiction story that throws you into a future run by android robots, but everything changes when Dugg Quinby and his friend create the "usuform" robots. These new robots are better than the older ones because they are cheaper to run and more useful, but Sanford Grew, who owns the company that makes all the old robots, hates them. As Quinby tries to prove that usuforms are the right choice, the story becomes a mix of funny moments, smart ideas about society, and thrilling action that leads to one big fight that will change the world.
