Summary

"My Novel" — Volume 07 by Edward Bulwer Lytton is a book that asks big questions about bravery while following the life of a young man who experiences tough times in London. The story kicks off with a lively discussion in a family about what it really means to be brave, sparked by an event with a bull, which adds color to the characters' personalities and hints at deeper ideas. Elsewhere, Leonard Fairfield is dealing with feeling embarrassed and alone in London, and tries to hide his true feelings in letters to his friends. The author weaves together these storylines - brave conversations and Leonard's struggles - setting the stage to explore how people bounce back and the importance of relationships as the tale continues.
