Out of Russia

"Out of Russia" by Crittenden Marriott is an action-packed narrative set in the early 1900s, focused on Professor Shishkin’s abrupt return to a world of political upheaval when he is requested to join a covert and dangerous mission. His quiet life is upended by Maxime Gorloff, who pulls him back into the fold of a revolutionary brotherhood, forcing the professor to confront his past choices regarding Russia and the Brotherhood. Meanwhile, Marie Fitzhugh enters the scene, entangled in the same plot involving a sunken ship full of government gold, though her true intentions remain a mystery as she's shadowed by deceit and even murder. All this combines for a story full of political drama, devotion, and the quest for independence through hardship and historical clashes.
