Summary

** "The Brownie Scouts at Snow Valley" by Mildred A. Wirt is a story about a group of Brownie Scouts, highlighting Connie Williams and her friendships, especially with Veve McGuire, who wants to become a Brownie after first thinking it wasn't for her. The girls get ready for a fun trip to Snow Valley in the winter. Early on, the story shows the Brownies doing art projects at Connie's house when Veve interrupts, wanting to play outside with them. Connie is nice to Veve and asks her to join the Brownies. As the story goes on, the girls have adventures, including a sledding accident with Veve that requires police help. This event kicks off the excitement of winter activities and shows how friendships grow, particularly as Veve goes from being an outsider to possibly joining the Brownies, all while the troop makes plans for their exciting trip to Snow Valley. **
