Sam's Ghost Deep Waters, Part 4.

"Sam's Ghost" by W.W. Jacobs is a funny story from long ago about a night-watchman and the ghost of a troublemaking waterman named Sam Bullet. The story is set in a spooky place and is filled with humor and suspense about an eerie ghost. After Sam dies by drowning, his friend Joe Peel asks the watchman for assistance. He'll need to help Sam's ghost get back the money he is owed. The watchman then gets caught up in many entertaining deceptions and mishaps as Sam tries to find ways to get his money back. The watchman tries to make a deal to escape the ghostly requests, but that only makes things worse and funnier as the story goes on!
