Summary

"The Wings of the Morning" by Louis Tracy is a turn-of-the-century novel about survival after a disaster, when the steamer "Sirdar," carrying Lady Tozer and Iris Deane, heads into unforgiving waters. The initial witty atmosphere shifts dramatically as a raging typhoon hits, causing the ship to wreck, catapulting Iris and a sailor called Robert Jenks onto a remote, deserted island where they must face the terrors of the unknown together, forging a connection to survive.
