Why Joan?

"Why Joan?" by Eleanor Mercein Kelly is a story about a young woman named Joan Darcy. Fresh out of school, Joan is on her way home, filled with thoughts about her life and what's to come. The start of her travels are used show Joan's inner thoughts, her memories, and a bit of worry about fitting in with her father's new life. The book looks at Joan as she figures out who she desires to be, what to do with her love life, and how she will deal with a quickly changing family.
