Summary

"Out Like a Light" by Randall Garrett and Laurence M. Janifer follows FBI agent Kenneth Malone as he investigates a string of strange occurrences linked to stolen red Cadillacs. The story begins with Malone waking up on a New York sidewalk, disoriented and suffering from a head injury, with no memory of recent events, and he soon recalls he was working on a peculiar case involving the missing vehicles. As he navigates the investigation, he encounters a group of teenagers known as the Silent Spooks, leading him deeper into a mystery that seems to blend crime and supernatural elements, creating a tone that mixes intrigue and humor as Malone attempts to solve the seemingly absurd mystery.
