Summary

"City of Endless Night" by Milo Hastings is a tale set in a broken future where Germany has become a strange, isolated land after some unknown disaster. Our main character, a young chemist, steps into this closed-off world and faces its harsh rules. Society is divided into strict classes, and the science of eugenics is used to control who people are. Early on, we learn about the hero's background and how the world changed, including the mystery of "The Ray" that cut Germany off. After his uncle's sudden death in an accident, the protagonist finds himself pulled into a dark secret connected to dangerous mines. He goes on a risky adventure underground, facing scary creatures. The reader follows him as he uncovers shocking truths about what it really means to survive and what it means to be human, testing everything he thought he knew.
