Summary

"Parking, Unlimited" by Noel M. Loomis is a science fiction tale from the 1950s that spins a humorous yarn about tackling the big-city parking problem. The story follows Slim and the narrator, who team up to start a parking business using a crazy invention that shrinks cars down to almost nothing. At first, they're super successful, packing tons of tiny cars into an old garage and raking in the money. But their amazing success brings unwanted attention, leading to a madcap showdown with a suspicious building inspector and a crowd of furious customers. In the end, their secret is exposed, and they have to run for it, leaving their parking empire behind. With its funny setup and imaginative technology, the story looks at ambition, being clever, and how starting your own business can be totally unpredictable.
