Summary

"Modern Literature: A Novel, Volume 3" by Robert Bisset is a story set in the 1800s about a man named Hamilton, his wife Maria, and his sister Charlotte, as they try to live life as best they can. Hamilton loves literature and is trying to become a lawyer, finding the right school and managing his time is very hard. The book shows descriptions of the country in England and has a lot of discussions on right versus wrong. Hamilton has to make a big decision: should he keep studying law, or give up his legal dreams and just focus on his love for literature? He travels to Windsor, sees the beautiful scenery, and thinks about society, life, and royalty. Along the way, they meet all sorts of people, like traveling preachers and a woman with a sad history, and has to deal with what happens when you choose fun and fame over doing the right thing.
