Summary

"Olive in Italy" by Moray Dalton is a story about a young Englishwoman named Olive Agar, who, after her mother's passing, seeks a fresh start and purpose by traveling to Italy to live with her cousins; burdened by financial constraints and a desire to escape the life she knows, Olive eagerly accepts her cousins invitation, leaving behind her familiar but unfulfilling English life, to find adventure, romance, and a profound sense of self within the vibrant backdrop of early 20th-century Italy, full of new experiences and unfamiliar customs.
