The Magnificent Ambersons

"The Magnificent Ambersons" by Booth Tarkington is a story about a rich family facing big changes in the early 1900s. It's mostly about George Amberson Minafer and how he grew up as his family, the Ambersons, dominated their town. The story shows how wealth, social class, and new inventions changed old traditions as America began to industrialize.
