Summary

"The Strength of Love, or Love is Lord of All" by Mrs. Alex. McVeigh Miller is a romance story that follows Daisie Bell, a lovely young woman who finds herself caught between two very different men, Dallas Bain and Royall Sherwood, during a summer in her village. Dallas and Daisie quickly fall for each other, however, Royall, who is rich and a bit wild, is also interested in her adding a lot of complication to their new connection. This situation leads to lots of jealousy and misunderstandings because of other characters like Mrs. Fleming, who is meddling in everyone's love lives. This sets the stage for a story looking at how strong love can be, while dealing with difficult choices and the drama that comes when feelings get mixed up.
