Your Time is Up

"Your Time is Up" by Walter J. Sheldon is a science fiction story centered on Colonel Lawrence E. Boggs, an army man who finds himself talking to a future technician, Zon Twenty, over the phone. The story jumps into ideas about time travel and what happens when people try to mess with what's supposed to happen. Colonel Boggs learns that a big war is coming to his time, and he’s super tempted to use what Zon tells him to get ahead and stay alive, and that is what drives him to ask the future technician lots of questions.
