Summary

"Time Grabber" by Gordon R. Dickson is a science fiction story that looks at what happens when one person messes with time. Philton J. Bugsomer, a scientist who studies societies, does something he's not supposed to do: he uses a time machine to bring sixteen Christians from ancient Rome way into the future. He wants to study them, but this act causes big problems. Time starts to fall apart, and Bugsomer has to figure out how to put everyone back before everything is destroyed. The book is filled with funny and dangerous scenes involving Roman fighters, mix-ups with history, and the craziness that happens when people from different times meet. It makes you think about what it means to be human and how careful we need to be with science and knowledge.
