The trap

"The Trap" by Henry S. Whitehead is a thrilling story centered around an old mirror and its scary secrets. What seems like a normal old object is really a gateway to another world, filled with horror and mystery. The story looks at what happens when you're too curious and the trouble that comes when bad forces hide in everyday stuff. Canevin, the main character, finds a weird mirror and sets off a chain of troubling occurences. When one of his students strangely vanishes, Canevin figures out that the mirror works as a prison, warping time and space. Through messages, he learns about others trapped inside and the twisted creator of the mirror. The creator sought an eternal life by using dark magic. The main character comes up with a bold plan to free his student and defeat the evil mirror but the escape leaves lasting effects.
