Summary

"Youth" by Isaac Asimov is a science fiction tale that follows two boys, Red and Slim, as they stumble upon miniature aliens, sparking dreams of a spectacular circus act. Driven by youthful enthusiasm and a thirst for excitement, the boys set out to capture and display the creatures, unaware of the monumental significance of their find. Meanwhile, their fathers, an astronomer and an industrialist, grapple with the implications of these extraterrestrial visitors and what they mean for the entire human race. The story highlights the contrast between the children's innocent wonder and the adults' more cautious and worried reactions, showing how youthful courage and open-heartedness can overcome fear.
