Forbidden flight

"Forbidden Flight" by Chester Cohen is a science fiction story about a group of young people living in the future, who dream of traveling through space. They are called the Junior Rocketeers, and they are planning a secret trip to the planet Uranus, even after other travelers have had horrible accidents trying to reach it. Jason Day is the leader, and Blanche Holm is the co-pilot, and they are ready for their adventure. Dr. Henry Neist, who used to encourage them, now worries about their safety and argues with them to not to go. As they travel on their ship, the “Quest”, their fun turns into terror after seeing the broken remains of past missions. In the end, the spaceship fails, proving how dangerous space travel can be.
