Burr Junior

"Burr Junior" by George Manville Fenn is a story that takes place at a boarding school for boys, possibly during the late 1800s. The book is about Frank Burr, who is the new kid at school and has to figure out how to make friends, deal with bullies, and explore the world around him. Right away, we meet characters like Mercer, a friendly boy who is interested in nature, and a group of bullies, which causes the school to be a place full of rivalries and adventures for the boys.
