Earth Alert!

"Earth Alert!" by Kris Neville is a science fiction story set in the 1950s where a young woman named Julia suddenly finds herself with amazing powers like reading minds and teleporting just as aliens are planning to invade Earth, posing a very real danger. Starting with Julia receiving a large inheritance, the book takes us to Hollywood as Julia's search for a partner gets mixed up with her new abilities gradually showing themselves. Her powers become clear when after thinking about it, a cut on her person heals itself. All the while, a group of mutants on a space station far away plots to take over Earth, lead by a being named Forential. As the characters prepare for the chaos ahead, watch as Julia struggles to find her place, especially as she faces off against another mutant named Walt who has been ordered to bring her to an end.
