Footlights

"Footlights" by Rita Weiman is a story about Elizabeth Parsons, a performer in vaudeville, as she chases her big dreams while dealing with where she comes from. Elizabeth deals with hard things in her career and wants to be known for her talents and find love. The book looks at who she is, her goals, and how being in the theater changes her, especially compared to where she started and who she meets in the business. Even with this support, Elizabeth still struggles with her feelings, which leads her on her journey to chase her ambitions.
