Summary

"Alex the Great" by H. C. Witwer is a funny story about Alex Hanley, a country guy from Vermont, ready to take on New York City. He thinks the city is full of chances for him to become successful. The story is all about chasing dreams, trusting yourself, and the funny things that happen when you're trying to make it big. Right from the start, Alex is shown to be super confident and ready to go, even though he doesn't know much about city life. He believes he can do anything if he just puts his mind to it, and this attitude leads him into all kinds of wild adventures as he tries to find his place in the city.
