Summary

"Jingle in the Jungle" by Aldo Giunta is a science fiction story set in the 1950s, following Charlie Jingle, a robot fighter trainer, as he grapples with the crooked world of professional fighting. Jingle's life turns chaotic when his fighter, Tanker Bell, unexpectedly wins against a major opponent, pulling him into a web of conspiracies run by corrupt promoters like Pugs, Inc.. As pressure closes in, Jingle is forced to find a way to rise above the dishonesty without sacrificing his values or Tanker's chance at legitimate victory. In the final fight, he uses his creativity and exposes the corruption to turn the situation around on Pugs, Inc., proving that sincerity and willpower can win, even when everything is stacked against them.
