Summary

"Still—William" by Richmal Crompton is a funny story about a young boy named William Brown, who lives in a small English village. William is always getting into trouble because he has a big imagination and loves to play pranks, showing how carefree and wild childhood can be. At the beginning of the story, William really wants a bright, colorful handkerchief like his friends have. His mom and dad don't really pay attention to him, so he decides to try and swipe the bishop's handkerchief at a local event. But, his plan goes hilariously wrong, causing all sorts of funny chaos with the bishop and other people in town. This sets the stage for more playful pranks and lighthearted adventures as William explores what it means to be a kid.
