Still—William

"Still—William" by Richmal Crompton is a funny story about a young boy named William Brown, who lives in a small English village. William is always getting into trouble because he has a big imagination and loves to play pranks, showing how carefree and wild childhood can be. At the beginning of the story, William really wants a bright, colorful handkerchief like his friends have. His mom and dad don't really pay attention to him, so he decides to try and swipe the bishop's handkerchief at a local event.
