As he works on vital respirator designs for a polluted world, he connects with Julie, a member of the resistance, placing him square in the crosshairs of the robotic enforcers and ruthless government officials. Arthur finds himself accused of crimes, leading to a dramatic trial and imprisonment on a Lunar Prison Colony where a secret plan to fight back against the oppressive regime begins to take shape, setting the stage for a thrilling battle for freedom.

Charles E. Fritch was an American author and editor of fantasy, science fiction, horror and mystery fiction. He was the editor of Mike Shayne Mystery Magazine from 1979 until 1985. His short story, "Misfortune Cookie", was adapted for an episode of the television series The Twilight Zone.
