Summary

"Sonia: Between Two Worlds" by Stephen McKenna is a story set in England long ago that looks at the lives of rich English people and the changes happening in their world. A group of different people, including the main character Sonia Dainton, show us disagreements, what society expects, and old ideas meeting new ones. The story starts with someone thinking about the past as big changes happen in England. The narrator tells stories about different people, like Charles Templeton and the Dainton family, all happening at an old house being fixed up. Through detailed descriptions and how the people act with each other, we get pulled into a world where what people want meets what they have to do, which means Sonia and others will face problems and changes as the story goes on.
