Summary

"The Girl from Keller's" by Harold Bindloss is a story set in the Canadian prairie about making choices and facing challenges. The main guy, Festing, works building railroads. As he travels through Saskatchewan, he thinks about his future and whether to keep building railroads or become a farmer. He sees the railroad changing the land and making it possible to grow crops. His friend, Charnock, isn't doing so well with his farm and is having trouble with a lady named Sadie Keller. Festing finds Sadie interesting, but maybe she is trouble. The story is about chasing dreams, reality hitting hard, and how love can pull you in different directions, all while trying to survive in the tough prairie.
